The holiest in its meaning among all the months in a lunar year of the Tibetan Buddhist calender is the 4th, called SAKA DAWA. In this 2014 year, it will start on 29th May (the 1st lunar day of the month) and will end on 27th June (the 30th lunar day of the month). The culmination point is in the middile - the full moon of 13th June. This is going to be a day, which all the Tibetans and Buddhists of the Himalayan Region count as the Day of Birth, Enlightment and Parinirvana of the Buddha Shakyamuni.
